 Jim loved driving his Denim Machine Van  which he owned when he met his love and working with  his grandfather on his ranch, the outdoors, camping and fishing. He loved to travel and thought nothing of getting in his truck and taking off for days at a time.

  A rodeo enthusiast who  traveled to Red Bluff and Reno yearly to watch the ever exciting rodeo. Jim held his family and  friends close to his heart and was the designated driver for trips to Country Western bars where he enjoyed his Dr. Pepper, which he was never without, and dancing.

Kathy and he spent a lot of time watching movies together, usually westerns, and enjoyed just talking to one another. Jim loved when Kathy would make him things. She would make stuff out of Plastic Canvas which he would hang  up all over his room, that he spent endless time in since disability took away his ability to walk.

  He use to tell Kathy how his Grandmother made  him shirts which he loved. They were always Cowboy shirts so one year for his birthday she made him a shirt and made sure the sleeves were extra long for his long arms that she loved to have wrapped around her.

                                        A LOVE STORY

 Here I am a Recently single mom.

There you are, My prince in shining armor.

Your van, “the Denim Machine”,

Actually a “Dream Machine”, your gallant steed.

I am a young,, Single mom of a young boy.

I am not worthy of a man as sweet as you.

 What do I do if you actually like me?

I am already promised To another man.

I fall in love with you but you don’t with me.

Now I am destined to be with someone I’m not sure of.

But I must do what I feel is right.

Marry my son’s godfather move to Washington State

Raise three children with him and try to forget about you.

Alas, you are unforgettable.

  We move back to California, I find you again and

Learn that you really did love me. But what shall I do?

I’m a wife and mother now.

 Our love overpowers all. We are intended to be.

We start our love affair again never to end ‘til death do us part’.

Fate brought us together

 and

Fate is all that can take us apart.
